Lewis William Hart, 59 years old, 2020 South Main street, died at St. Joseph hospital this morning following a seven months illness. He is survived by his, wife, Ida and the following children: Edward and Charles, both in France, Arthur, this city, and Ruben, Charles and Ellis at home. He also leaves a brother, and a sister, Frank Hart, Albion, Mich., and Mrs. Bertha Darnbeck, of that city.
He was born in Germany, Nov. 26, 1859, and had lived in South Bend for the past 22 years, coming here from Michigan.
The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
