Rev. John J. Harrington CSC, 61, died recently in Uganda, East Africa, the Holy Cross Fathers Provincial Office was informed Sunday. Death was due to a heart attack. He was born Dec. 22, 1905 in Eureka, Utah. He entered the Holy Cross order on July 1, 1924 and was ordained on June 24, 1933. He spent many years in the foreign missions in East Pakistan and Uganda, and was superior of the Holy Cross Foreign Mission Seminary, Washington, for six years. He is survived by two sisters. Burial will be in East Africa.
