Mrs. Charles Harrah

February 21, 1900 – November 15, 1977

Marvel Temple Harrah, 77, of 1337 N. Brookfield, died at 3:55pm Tuesday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.  She retired in 1965 from the Bendix Corp., where she had been employed 33 years.

She was born on February 21, 1900, in Fremont NB, and resided here most of her life.  On January 1, 1967, in South Bend, she married Charles H. Harrah, who survives, along with a daughter, Mrs. Walter Karczewski of Warren MI; a son, Robert C. Temple of Birch Lake, Vandalia MI; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Hildenbrand of South Bend and Mrs. Betty Falgiani of Weirton WV

Services will be at 11am Friday in Westminster Presbyterian Church, of which Mrs Harrah was a member.  Rev. Harry Collier, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.  Mrs. Harrah was a member of the Philathea Class at the church. 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William.
