M. Harlin

SOUTH BEND - Lydia M. Harlin, 80, of South Bend, died on
Thursday, May 6, 2010. She was born in South Bend on July 2,
1929, to Clarence and Lydia (Wallace) Wickizer. Lydia married
Robert N. Harlin in South Bend on December 16, 1950. Robert
preceded her in death on March 1, 1997. She was also preceded in
death by her parents; a daughter, Charlene Gillman; two sisters,
Ruth Johnson and Viola Boles; and three brothers, Lester, George
and Fred Wickizer. She graduated from South Bend Central High
School in 1947, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Harlin is survived by
two daughters, Laura Pangrac-Paden of South Bend and Carolyn
Schori of Mishawaka; a son, Rod (Cyndi) Harlin of Texas; eight
grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Clements, Amy Butcher, Adam
Butcher, Lindsey (Kris) Kroening, Richard Berning Jr., P.K.
Harlin, Kealey McPherson and Amanda Schori; and two
great-grandchildren, Lucas Kroening and Gavin Butcher. Friends
may visit with the family on Monday, May 10, 2010, in Bubb
Funeral Chapel from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in
the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m., with Rev. Ervin Mize
officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American
