Sister Cecilia Patrice CSC, 57, of St. Mary’s Convent died in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend this morning, after a long illness. She was born in South Bend May 27, 1884. Survivors include a brother, Rev. Cornelius Hagerty CSC, of the University of Notre Dame; and a sister, Sister Mary Benedict CSC, of St. Joseph Academy here. She received the habit of the Sisters oif the Holy Cross in 1918 and made her final profession in 1923. Most of her community life was spent at St. Mary’s where she did work in the college offices. She was an accountant. Prior to her entrance into the community she was employed for many years in the business offices of the former South Bend News-Times.
