MRS. ALGIA RUTH HARDY
Mrs. Algia Ruth Hardy, 83, of 26299 Eunice, Lydick, died at 4 p.m.
Tuesday in her home after an extended illness. She was born on Dec.
27,1893, in Rochester and lived in this area all her life. On March
27, 1921, in Geneva, Ind., she married Harvey Robert Hardy, who died
on Aug. 15, 1965. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Erma Plumbeck
of South Bend, Mrs. Ruth Myers of Lucasville, Ohio, and Mrs. Evadean
Phend of St. Charles, Mo.; a son, Richard Lewis of Portland, Ore.; two
stepdaughters, Mrs. Lucille Trace and Mrs. Katherin Nieman, both of
South Bend; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Friends my call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral
Home, 521 N. William. Mrs. Hardy was a member of the Lydick United
Methodist Church, the Ladies' Aid Society, the Lydick Women's Club,
and the Gleaner's Sewing Circle.

HARDY - Services for Mrs. Algia Ruth Hardy, 83, of 26299 Eunice,
Lydick, who died Tuesday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Lydick
United Methodist Church. Rev. Don Grabill, pastor, will officiate
with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9
p.m. today in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William, and from 10
a.m. until services Saturday in the church.
