Roland J. Haney

July 24, 1913 – November 4, 1989

Roland Haney, 76, of 52684 Kenilworth Drive, died at 1:10pm Saturday in Memorial Hospital.  He retired form Bendix in 1972, following 37 years of service.

He was born July 24, 1913, in Roseland.  He lived in the area all of his life.  On August 30, 1939, in South Bend, he married Jean Paxson.  She survives with a daughter, Peggy Ann Babbitt of Kalamazoo; a son, Roland Jean of Petaluma CA; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Agnes Johnston of Morgantown, WV, and Lucille McGrath of Lakeland FL; and two brothers, James of South Bend and Charles of Littleton CO.  He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Services will be at 11am Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4 to 8pm Monday in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, where a rosary will be said at 7pm.
