Howell W. Hamilton

January 14, 1905 – January 1, 1973

Howell W. Hamilton, 67, of 1214 Sunnymede Ave., died at 3:10pm Monday in St Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness.  He was a tax consultant and served with the FBI on the wage price administration panel during WW II.

He was born on January 14, 1905 in LaPorte, and had lived here 40 years, coming from Boston.  On August 25, 1931, in South Bend, he married Grace Pattison, who survives, along with a brother, Robert E. of Pompano Beach FL; a sister, Mrs. James A Hutchison of South Bend, and a niece miss Linda Sue Hutchison of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11am Thursday by Rev. John H. Woodruff, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
