SOUTH BEND - Jeanette Pearl Hall, 89,
of North Wellington Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 7:15 p.m.
on Thursday, March 26, in Hospice House of St. Joseph County. She
was born on Nov. 7, 1908, in Chicago, Ill., to Richard John and
Henrietta (Tartner) Dykinga, who both preceded her
in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Fladeland
in July 1997. On Sept. 15, 1925, in Chicago, as Jeanette Pearl
Dykinga, she married Willard Milton Hall, who survives. She is
also survived by a daughter, Marion Patrick of Niles,
Mich.; two sons, Glen Hall of South Bend and Richard Hall of
Mishawaka, Ind.; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and
three great-great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Berdie Wetnight
of San Diego, Calif. Mrs. Hall was a department manager for the
former Goldblatt's Department Store, retiring in 1973. She was a
member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, March
30, in Calvary Baptist Church, 3001 W. Cleveland Road. Rev. David
Jenkins will conduct services. Friends may call one hour prior to
services in the church. Entombment will take place at Highland
mausoleum. The family has requested that memorial contributions
be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court,
South Bend, IN 46637. The Welsheimer Funeral Home is handling
arrangements.
