Benedict L. Hahaj Sr.
Ben was born
On June 14, 1941,
in South Bend, he married Mary Virginia Bueche, who survives,
along with a daughter, Nanette Gundt of South Bend; three sons,
Barry L. of Mishawaka, Eugene J. of Fort Wayne and Ben L. Jr. of
Berrien Springs, MI; nine grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren; one sister, Angela Eudaley of Spokane,
Washington; and two brothers, John and Francis Hahaj of South
Bend.
A memorial Mass
will be held in January 2007 in St. Pius X. Catholic Church,
Granger. Ben was a member of St. Pius X Parish and was a lifetime
member of DAV Chapter 6.

SOUTH BEND - Memorial services for Benedict L. Hahaj Sr., 87, who
died Dec. 14, 2006, will be at noon Saturday, Jan. 27, in St.
Pius X. Catholic Church, Granger. Survivors include his wife,
Mary V.; daughter, Nanette Gundt of South Bend; sons, Barry L. of
Mishawaka, Eugene J. of Ft. Wayne and Ben L. Jr. of Berrien
Springs; a sister, Angela Eudaley of Spokane, WA; and two
brothers, John and Francis of South Bend. Memorials may be made
to Hospice & Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South
Bend, IN 46637; or to St. Pius X Catholic Church. The Hickey
