Miss Mabel Frances Hagey

March 23, 1901 – September 29, 1979

Miss Mabel Frances Hagey,m 78, of 2828 Brichwood Lane, died at 3am Saturday in St Joseph’s Hospital following an extended illness.  She retired in 1963 from the payroll department of the Naitonal Bank & Trust Co., where she worked for 44 years.

She was born on March 23, 1901, in Grand Rapids MI and lived most of her life in South Bend.  Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Hazel Mellander of South Bend, and several nieces and nephews.

Private services were to be held with Charles Barrrington, minister of the Donmoyer Avenue Church of Christ, officiating.  Burial was to be in Southlawn Cemetery.  The Welsheimer Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
