SOUTH BEND - Joseph L. Hagee, 88, of Venice, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday in Mason Christian Village, Mason, Ohio. Mr. Hagee retired from Bendix Corp. He was born Feb. 25, 1907, in Peru, Ind., and had lived in Venice since 1972.
On Feb. 25, 1928, in South Bend, he married Anna Barrett. She died Oct. 22, 1994. Surviving are a son, Joseph Jr. of Westchester, Ohio; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a nephew, William Conkey of Elkhart. He was a member of River Park Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
