Doris L. Hadrick, 80, of the Cardinal Nursing Home, formerly of 1941 Prairie Avenue, passed away at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, in the nursing home. Mrs. Hadrick was born on Feb. 2, 1920, in Rutland, Ind., to Emile and Ruth Ann Anderson. On July 27, 1940, in South Bend, Ind., as Doris Anderson, she married Louis M. Hadrick, who died on Oct. 21, 1978. She is survived by three sons, Thomas Hadrick of Houston, Texas, Bob (Victoria) Hadrick of Crown Point, Ind., and Rick (Christine) Hadrick of South Bend; and by five grandchildren, Stacey Stiba, Tracey Hadrick, Dina Garabedian, Robert Hadrick and Adam Hadrick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Our Lady of Hungary Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue.
