SOUTH BEND - Michele A. Hack, 45, of
Ribourde Drive, died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital
after an illness. Mrs. Hack was a special education teacher for
the South Bend Community School Corp. She was born Oct. 11, 1950,
in South Bend.
On Aug. 18, 1973, in South Bend, as Michele
A. Mazurkiewicz, she married David W. Hack. He survives
with three daughters, Sara, Katie and Emily, all at home; her
mother, Ida Mazurkiewicz of South Bend; two sisters, Diana Shuey
of South Bend and Patti Vavul of Granger; and two
brothers, James Mazurkiewicz and John Mazurkiewicz, both of South
Bend. She was a graduate of Ball State University and Indiana
University.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Corpus
Christi Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kaniewski Funeral
Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish rosary will be said at
7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Women's Care Center
or St. Joseph County Council for the Retarded.
