OSCEOLA - Cynthia Catherine Hack, 59, of 56554 Crescent Drive,
Osceola, IN, passed away of natural causes at 6 p.m. on Thursday,
Feb. 4, in her home. Cynthia was a loving mother of three
children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Cynthia
worked as a chef at Moreau Seminary of Notre Dame. Cynthia loved
to spend time with her family, boat rides on the river, tanning
at her daughter's salon and listening to her son's band play
Irish music. She was preceded in death by her mother and father,
Velma and John Graszli, and her youngest daughter, Jessica Hack.
She is survived by her two children, Sabrina (James) Lockett of
South Bend and Randy (Kim) Tyler of South Bend; a sister,
Patricia Scarlett of Osceola; grandchildren, Billy Lowery,
Brianna Winston, Jordan Lockett, Shelbie Tyler, Trey Tyler and
Hannah Tyler; great-grandchild, Alexandria Lowery; and her
ex-husband, Michael Hack with whom she remained friends and
talked frequently with after the death of their daughter Jessica.
To all of our family and friends who knew our mother and how she
struggled over the years, take comfort in knowing that she passed
away peacefully in her home and we truly believe she is in a
better place and no longer struggles with the burdens of everyday
life. We love you mom and you will be missed dearly.
Forever in our hearts. Love, Sabrina and Randy.
Funeral services will be held in St. Patrick Catholic Church at
10:00 a.m. Friday. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
