SOUTH BEND - Lillian Gyorkos, 70, of South Bend, Ind., passed away at 10:35 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 4, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Gyorkos was born on Oct. 10, 1928, in South Bend, to Louis and Ethel Nagy, who both preceded her in death. She was formerly employed by J.C. Penny. On April 23, 1949, in South Bend, as Lillian Nagy, she married Victor Gyorkos, who also preceded her in death on March 30, 1996.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Peter) Kidder of South Bend; a son, Ronald V. of South Bend; two grandchildren, Kimberly (Brian) Koloszar and David (Melanie) Benko; and by two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Tyler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, where a Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m.
