SOUTH BEND - Thaddeus ''Ted'' Guzicki, 73, of Greensboro, N.C., formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in Evergreens Nursing Home, Greensboro. Mr. Guzicki retired as an auto manufacturer.

He was born March 11, 1921, in South Bend, and moved to Greensboro three years ago from South Bend. He is survived by his wife, Martha Marie; three daughters, Connie Lynn Marshall and Debra Lee Guzicki, both of Greensboro, and Susan Rose Harlan of Dublin, Ohio; a son, Ronald M. of Valparaiso; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Tranberg of South Bend.

Services will be at 9 a.m. today in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensboro. Burial will take place at a later date. Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Service, Greensboro, is in charge of arrangements.
