TRAVERSE CITY — H. Kathryn Guy,
88, formerly of Roseland, Ind., died on Monday, Jan. 29, in the
Munson Medical Center following an automobile accident. She was
born the daughter of William D. and Lillian (Rostiser) Myers
on Jan. 25, 1913, in South Bend, Ind.
On Jan. 30, 1937, she married Kenneth D.
Guy, who survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Marilyn
(Floyd) Ermer of Naperville, Ill.; two sons, Thomas (Lynn)
Guy of Eckerman, Mich., and Larry (Janie) Guy of South Bend; and
by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Kathryn was
preceded in death by her five brothers, Russell, Harold, Phillip,
William and Richard Myers.
A memorial service will be held in Clay
United Methodist Church, 17646 Cleveland Road, South Bend, on
Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour
prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements have
been handled by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
