SOUTH BEND – Mrs.
Dorothy L. Guthrie, 62, of 619 E. Wenger Street, died at noon
Monday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was a
retired bookkeeper for the Braunsdorf Plumbing and Heating Co.
She was born Oct. 30, 1910 in South Bend and had been a liftime
resident.
She was married March
15, 1958, in South Bend as Dorothy Braunsdorf, to Robert
F. Guthrie. He survives, along with her mother, Mrs. Emma
Braunsdorf of South Bend; a daughter Mrs. Patricia Guthrie, and
two grandchildren.
Friends may call from
7 to 9 p.m. today in the Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, where
services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Robert
MacGill, of the Cathedral of St. James, officiating. Burial will
be in Highland Cemetery.
Editor: As Dorothy Braunsdorf she married Francis Leo Greene,
3-10-1944 in St. Joseph County IN. He died 9-18-1953.
