Mary E. Gundeck

June 4, 1904 – June 22, 1987

Mary E. Gundeck, 83;, of 19989 Roosevelt Road, died at 8:55pm Monday in Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Gundeck retired from Uniroyal Inc., Mishawaka, after 43 years’ service.

She was born June 4, 1904, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  As Mary Arch, she married Joseph F. Gundeck, who died in 1984.  She is survived by a daughter, Rosemary Goheen of South Bend; a grandson, Earl Gundeck of Elkhart; and a sister, Margaret A. Erdelyi of Walkerton.

Services will be at 11am Thursday at St Stephen’s Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Wednesday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 7pm.  She was a member of Daughters of Isabella.
