James L. Gulbranson

ROSELAND - James L. Gulbranson, 70,
of 128 E. Willow Drive, died about 3 a.m. Tuesday in his home
after an illness. Mr. Gulbranson was a former employee of J.W.
Huston Body Shop, South Bend. He was born Aug. 24, 1924, in
Baroda, and lived in Roseland since 1966.
On April 24, 1970, in Plymouth, he married
Evelyn M. Roberts. She died Oct. 13, 1991. He is survived
by five daughters, Tina Joy of Granger and Tammie
Gulbranson, Trudy Gulbranson, Terrie Kazmirski, Tonie Underwood
and Tara Huffman, all of South Bend; two sons, Mark and
Eric, both of South Bend; two stepdaughters, Pamela Nowacki
of Mishawaka and Sherry Rohr of South Bend; 22
grandchildren; two sisters, Lenore Vida and Mary Zanders,
both of Niles; and a brother, Roy of Mishawaka. He was a member
of American Legion Post 26, Niles, AmVets, Niles, and was a
veteran of World War II.
Services will be at 11 a.m. (Michigan time)
Friday in Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles. Burial will be in
Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles, with militray services. Friends may
call from 6 to 8 p.m. (Michigan time) in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph
County Inc.
