Olga E. Guerra, 91, of South Spring Street, Mishawaka, passed away at 11:20 p.m. Monday, March 14th, in the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend.
Olga was born on Feb. 9, 1914, in Logansport, as the daughter of the late August and Esterina (Passereni) Bissacchi. Two brothers, Yato and Eddy Bissacchi, preceded her in death.
On Feb. 17, 1934, in Logansport, IN, as the former Olga Bissacchi ,she married Adam Guerra, who preceded her in death on June 10, 1985.
She is survived by two sons, Richard (Connie) Guerra of Mishawaka and Dan (Edna) Guerra of South Bend; 10 grandchildren, Jeff (Marta) Guerra, Lisa (Jay) Hosler, Lori Schwartz, Anita Guerra, Dan Guerra, Vickie (Terry) Toombs, Bonnie (Bill) Edwards, Rosie (Dan) Bishop, Jack (Martha) Guerra and Alan (Lois) Guerra; 24 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie (Dick) Walters; three brothers, John Puzzella, Jim Puzzella and Anthony (Betty) Puzzella, all of Logansport, IN; and a sister-in-law, Louise Amaral of Mishawaka.
Olga was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, and the DeAmici's Women's Auxiliary. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Olga enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 16th, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 17th, in St. Bavo Catholic Church, with Rev. Barry England officiating.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
Contributions may be made in memory of Olga to St. Bavo Catholic Church.
