MISHAWAKA – Anita Guerra, 76, of 219 W. 11th Street, died at 12:46 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital after a two-month illness. She was born Nov. 28, 1908 in South Bend, and lived in this area all her life. She was a former employee of Uniroyal.

On Oct. 19, 1928 in South Bend, as Anita Maggioli, she married Anthony Guera. He survives with four grandchildren. A daughter Jo Ann Eisenstein, died in 1977.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Hahn’s-DeVos Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday. She was a member of the church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the DeAmicis Club.
