NILES -- Donna Belle (Hayden) Halle Guentert, 75, of Niles, passed away Monday, March 5, 2007, in Silverbrook Manor following an extended illness.

She was born on August 14, 1931, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to the late Clair and Irene (Green) Hayden. Donna was a cashier most of her life. She loved attending St. Mark's Catholic Church, and her hobbies included crocheting, reading and enjoyed being a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. Donna is survived by a son, Harold (Rita) Halle of Louisiana; two daughters, Susan (Jerry) Dietz of Florida and Dorothy (David) Townsend of Niles; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and two brothers.

In keeping with Donna's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.

Contributions may be made in remembrance of Donna to the Alzheimer's Association, 213 Sheldon Boulevard SE, Suite A, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Niles.
