Mrs. Stella E. Grzesk

Mrs. Stella E. Grzesk, 82, of 609 N Studebaker St., died at 2:50pm Monday in St Joseph’s Hospital after a short illness.

She was born April 20, 1884, in South Bend.  She was married on November 11, 1902, as Stella Jankowski, to Leo M. Grzesk, who died in 1949.  Surviving are two sons, Stanley Grzesk, at home, and Thad Grzesk, also of South Bend; five daughters, Miss Sylvia, at home, Mrs. Helen Wroblewski of Detroit, Mrs. Regina Jankowski of New Carlisle and Mrs. Severine Mucha and Mrs. Natalie Mrozinski, both of South Bend; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs Hattie Kubiak and Mrs. Helen Burkart, both of South Bend.

Friends may call after 7pm today in the St Joseph Funeral Home.  Services will be at 10am Thursday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church, Rev. Sigmund Jankowski, CSC, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  She was a member of the St Hedwig’s Society of the church.  Rosaries will be recited at 7:30pm today and Wednesday in the funeral home
