Gregory Alan Grygiel

Gregory Alan Grygiel, 35, of New Road
in South Bend, Ind., passed away on Feb. 25, 1999, in Knoxville,
Tenn. Greg was born on May 13, 1963, in South Bend. He was a
senior at IUPUI, a substitute teacher in the Elkhart Community
School Corporation, and had also worked at Potato Creek State
Park. Greg was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic
Church. He attended the Wyoming Technical Institute, and was a
certified scuba diver.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy T'Kindt
of South Bend; his father, George Grygiel of South Bend; a
sister, Stephanie T'Kindt of South Bend; his grandfather, Stanley
Grygiel of South Bend; an aunt, Diane Mondt of Michigan
City, Ind.; and by a cousin, Ronald Wamser of Michigan
City. He was preceded in death by his sister, Georgia Grygiel in
1984; and by his stepfather, Fred T'Kindt in 1995.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10
a.m. on Tuesday, March 16, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic
Church. Burial will follow in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends
may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 15, in the Kaniewski
Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. Cremation has
taken place. Memorials may be made to the Christ Child Society,
