Joseph Glen Grove, 76, of 808 E. Bowman Street, died at 5 a.m. today at his home following a lenghty illness. He was born Nov 15, 1896, in Milford, and lived her since 1931. He was married Oct. 4, 1922 to Madeine M. Kern in Milford. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Kelley, of South Bend, two granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth O'Toole of Alabama. Services will be at 3p.m. Monday at the Forest G. Hay & Son Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. with Rev. Eugene R. Balsey, pastor of the First United Methodiat Church, officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Grove was a retired salesman of the Continental Coffee Co. He was a 50-year member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, South Bend Low 12 Club, VFW Post 829 and the Orak Temple Shrine, Hammond. A Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
