SOUTH BEND - Lottie B. Grontkowski, 77, of Dunnellon, Fla., formerly of North Hawthorne Drive, died Saturday in Dunnellon. Mrs. Grontkowski retired from Berg Jewelry Store after 28 years of service. She was born April 20, 1917, in Bay City, Mich., and lived in South Bend until 1981.

On May 28, 1939, she married Aloysius J. ''Al'' Grontkowski. He survives with two sisters, Clara Lewandowski of South Bend and Lillian Kolesiak of New Carlisle; and a brother, Aloysius Ciesiolka of New Carlisle. She was a former member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m.
