James F. Griffin

James F. Griffin, 71, of 1852 Crestwood Dr., died at 7:40am today in St Joseph’s Hospital.  A retired heating engineer, he had lived one year in South Bend.  His wife, Dorothy, died in 1964 in Chicago.

Surviving are a son, Robert C., of South Bend; five grandchildren; and two brothers, William of Bangor ME and Edward of River Edge NJ.

Services will be at 11am Monday in the Little Flower Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn NY.  The rosary will be recited at 8pm Sunday in the Hickey Funeral Home where friends may call after 2pm Sunday.
