SOUTH BEND - Bert J. Gresczyk, 94, of Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, formerly of North Adams Street, died at 8:49 a.m. Saturday in the nursing home. Mr. Gresczyk retired in 1968 from Bendix Corp. He was born Dec. 14, 1901, in Pittsburgh, living here 75 years, coming from Pennsylvania.

On Aug. 13, 1923, in South Bend, he married Marie Maculski. She died March 20, 1989. Surviving are a daughter, Doris Ronan of Mishawaka; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was a member of Bendix Local 9, Holy Cross Catholic Church and Z.B. Falcons.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Entombment will be in Garden of Love mausoleum, St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home, where the rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
