Frances M. Green, 68, of Ironwood
Road in South Bend Ind., died Friday, July 14, 2000, in the
Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Ind. She was
born on June 3, 1932 in Mishawaka, Ind. A cancer survivor of 32
years, she succumbed to complications from leukemia shortly after
admittance to the IU Medical Center. Raised in Mishawaka, and a
graduate of Mishawaka High School.
She was married to, and survived by Robert
L. Green, formerly of Osceola, her husband of 45 years. She was a
sixteen year employee of K-Mart in Mishawaka and an active member
of Redeemer Missionary Church in South Bend. Frances is also
survived by four children: Kathy (Jerry) Mannell of
Carmel, Ind., Karen (Ken) Marciniak of Rolling Prairie,
Ind., Maurice (Mary) Green of South Bend, and Rodney (Debbie)
Green also of South Bend. She is also survived by five
grandchildren: Kelly, Abigail, Kristopher, William and Katelyn; a
brother, Rev. Charles H. Bowers of Oklahoma; two sisters,
Louise Klinger of South Bend, and Norma Rice of
Indianapolis.
Friends will be received from 2 until 4 and
6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North 3910 N.
Main St., Mishawaka. Services will be held in the funeral chapel
at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Burial will follow at the Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made
to the St. Joseph County Hospice, or to the Hope Lodge, 1795 W.
86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46260.
