SOUTH BEND -- Service for Richard Greene, 54, of 202
N. Brookfield St. who died about 1:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial
Hospital, will be at noon Saturday in New Salem Missionary
Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may
call one hour before service Saturday in the church. Survivers
include his mother Katie Green, of South Bend. Clark's Funeral
Chapel is in charge of arrangements

54, of 202 N. Brookfield St., who died about 1:30 p.m. Monday in
Memorial Hospital, will be at noon Saturday in New Salem

Mr. Greene was employed by the University of
Notre Dame as a groundskeeper. He was born June 10, 1941, in
South Bend. He is survived by four sons, Rodrick and Ryan, both
of Plano, Texas, Mitchell of Jacksonville, Ill., and Shawn of
Decatur, Ill.; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Pauline Sales,
Louise Pruitt and Darlene Cosey, all of South Bend.
He was a member of the church and The Encos and The Harmony Kings
singing groups.
