23, 1932 - July 7, 2010OSCEOLA - Delbert Green, 78, passed away at home on Thursday, July 7. Delbert was born in South Bend, on February 23, 1923 to Lucien E. and Mina L. (Brown) Green. Delbert was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Green. On April 27, 1952 in South Bend, he married the former Nancy Weesner. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2010. Surviving are his daughter, Debra L. (Mark) Borkowski of Niles; son, Kerry (Angela) Green of Zionsville, IN; three grandchildren, Alison Green, Misty (Dave) Jamesen and Robert Borkowski; three great- grandchildren, Delaney Borkowski, Macy Jamesen and Zarin Jameson and a brother, Don (Marion) Green of Granger. Delbert was an avid antique toy collector; he was into racing and helping with the family car lot. He would help anyone in need. Most of all he was proud of his son who is a Pilot in Afghanistan, flying for the government. Visitation will be Sunday, July 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. with a Memorial service at 4 p.m. with Rev. Bob Vale officiating, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
