Mr. Arthur Lee Green, 83, of East Monroe Street, South Bend, Indiana, passed away in his residence at 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 13, 1999. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 15, 1915 to the union of the late Wiley and Lula (Martin) Dickerson. In 1944, Mr. Green moved to South Bend from Marked Tree, Arkansas. He was employed by Rubin Cleaners and retired in 1988 after forty-one years of service.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Peppers of Atlanta, Georgia; a son, Dewight Green of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, O.C. Dickerson of South Bend, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at 2:00 p.m. Friday with funeral services following at 3:00 p.m. at Alford's Mortuary where arrangements have been entrusted.
