SOUTH BEND - Services for Webster Gray,
87, of Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, who died at
12:30 p.m. Friday in the center, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in
Sunnyside Presbyterian Church. Entombment will be in Riverview
Mausoleum. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in Welsheimer
Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be
made to the church.
Mr. Gray retired in 1974 from Indiana State
Dairy Department and had also been manager at City Dairy and had
worked at Oak Ridge Dairy, Mishawaka. He was born Sept. 14, 1907,
in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, and lived here since 1927, coming from
Sioux City, Iowa.
On May 21, 1927, in South Bend, he married
Marie A. Clark. She survives with a son, Gerald H. of
Cambria, Calif.; two grandsons; and a sister, Dr. Emily Gray of
Wimberly, Texas. He was a member of the church, where he was an
elder, trustee and treasurer, past president and organizer of
Michiana Dairy Club and Mishawaka Rotary Club.
