Michael Stewart Grayson, 37, of Rue
Voltaire, South Bend, passed away after an extended illness on
Monday, September 19, 2005, in his home. Michael was born on
August 10, 1968, in Watford, England, to Robert Grayson and Carol
Warren.
On December 24, 1999, he married the former
Jacqueline Wasmer in St. Andrew's United Church of Christ,
where they were members. Michael is survived by his loving wife,
Jacqueline Grayson of South Bend; one son, Xavier Grayson of
South Bend; his father, Robert Grayson of Indianapolis; his
mother, Carol (Bob) Conway of Niles, MI; one brother,
Scott (Natasha) Grayson of Indianapolis; and two sisters, Linda Quinn
of Indianapolis and Rebecca (Read) Zidan of Indianapolis.
He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
Mike was a graduate of Niles High School and
also attended South Western Michigan College and IUSB. He had
been a material handler for Universal Forest Products, Granger,
for the past five years. He enjoyed discussions of philosophy and
politics, and games of chess with his father. He felt his son
Xavier was his greatest accomplishment in life and brought him
many moments of laughter and joy.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM
today, September 23, 2005, in St. Andrew's United Church of
Christ, 320 E. 4th Street, Mishawaka. Rev. Dale Speckman will
officiate. Family and friends may visit at the home of Lori and
Phil Wasmer, 15610 Darden Road, Granger, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM
today, September 23rd.
