MISHAWAKA - Bernice R. Grant, 66, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 1:40 AM Tuesday, April 29, 2008, in the Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. She was a waitress for 10 years at the Morris Park Country Club, retiring in 1990. Bernice was born on May 2, 1941, in South Bend, IN, to Phillip and Cleo (Mishler) Miltonberger, and was a lifelong resident. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Grant of Elkhart; two sons, Carl (Tania) Grant of Mishawaka and Charles Williams of Akron, IN; and their father, Edward Grant of South Bend. Six grandchildren, Jessica, Juan, Monica, Erin, Amy and Leayre, and one sister, Donna (Bing) Goldstone of South Bend, also survive. Nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 3, 2008, in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev J. Mark Muncy, pastor of Ireland Road Church of God, will officiate. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family will receive friends from noon until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
