Dewain E. Graham, 61, of Mishawaka,
passed away of natural causes in his residence at 4:42 p.m. on
Wednesday, March 2, 2005. Mr. Graham was born September 21, 1943,
to Charles and Virginia (Alt) Graham in St. Joseph County,
Indiana. His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Jodi Taylor
and her husband, H. Charles of Elkhart; his son, Michael Graham
of Elkhart; three brothers, Paul Graham of Lakeville, IN, Tom
Graham of Liberty Hill, TX, and Dennis Graham of Mishawaka; and
three sisters, Jeanie Motz of Mishawaka, Doris Childers
of Lansing, MI, and Sherry Cole of Liberty Hill, TX.
Preceding Dewain in death was his brother, Jack Graham.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8
p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in
Osceola. Services will be conducted by Rev. Jim Davidson at 3:00
p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, with
interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Dewain was a veteran of the Vietnam War,
serving his country from 1967-1969 before his honorable discharge
from the U.S. Army. He was employed by the Uniroyal Corporation
for over 40 years in the receiving department. When Uniroyal
closed its doors, Dewain became employed by Royal Adhesives of
South Bend in the same capacity as his previous job. Dewain was a
member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Lodge #2083, and
enjoyed sports. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial donations in his name may be made to The Center for
Hospice and Palliative Care or to The Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society.
