Elizabeth K. Gottschalk, 87, of Addison Street, South Bend, Ind., died of natural causes on Thursday, Nov. 23, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Elizabeth was born in Ogden, Ill., on July 19, 1913, to Everett and Essie Plotner.

On March 21, 1931, in Inwood, Ind., she married Ford Rex Gottschalk, who preceded her in death. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter-in-law, Darlene Gottschalk of South Bend; three grandchildren, Loretta Makofka of Centerville, Ohio, Alen Gottschalk of Chicago, Ill., and Jeff Gottschalk of Warsaw, Ind.; and by seven great-great-grandchildren.

amily and friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, in the FOREST G. HAY FUNERAL HOME, located at Ironwood and Jefferson in South Bend. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home, with burial at Highland Cemetery, South Bend.
