Albert L. Gottman

Albert L. Gottman, 79, of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 8:50 a.m. Sunday, June 2, in Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. He was born March 9, 1923, in South Bend, Ind., to Frank Gottman and Elsie Nemeth, both deceased.

On Jan. 19, 1946, in Elizabeth, N.J., he married the former Lucy Colletti, who survives. He is also survived by his children, Lori Nichols and her husband, Michael, Jill Gottman and Richard Gottman, all of South Bend; his six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and by a sister, Elsie Rice of Mishawaka. Mr. Gottman retired from Uniroyal (Ball Band) in 1991 from the data processing department. Mr. Gottman was a graduate of South Bend Central, and served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corps.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. today, June 5, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street. Cremation has taken place in the Michiana Crematory. The family will greet friends after services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society.
