SOUTH BEND - Myrtle Goss, 80, of Abshire Street, and Phoenix, died at 10:40 a.m. Thursday in John C. Lincoln Hospital, Phoenix. Mrs. Goss was born March 1, 1916, in Washington and lived in South Bend for four years.

In 1942, as Myrtle Marsh, she married Earl Berry. He died in 1989. In 1992, she married Fred S. Goss. He survives with a sister, Dorothy Pickle of Sunnyside, Wash.; two brothers, Gordon Marsh of Boise, Idaho, and Paul Marsh of Lincoln, Calif.; and 14 nieces and nephews. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and attended Ridgedale Presbyterian Church.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in South Bend. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
