Aletha L. Goss, 93, of Tanglewood Lane, Mishawaka passed away Thursday July 18, in Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. Aletha was born on June 23, 1909 in LaPaz, IN as the daughter of the late Oliver Franklin and Jenny (Holland) Stuckey.

On November 20, 1935 in Goshen, IN as the former Aletha Stuckey she married John Goss who preceded her in death of January 22, 1971. Aletha is survived by her son Mike (Cristina) Goss of South Bend; two granddaughters Gabriella and Elizabeth Goss of South Bend and by several nieces and nephews. Aletha was a lifetime area resident. She worked as a bookkeeper for Sailor’s Furniture Store for 14 years before retiring in 1944. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in South Bend.

Friends may call from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday July 21 in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday July 22 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, South Bend, with Rev. Ronald W. Seitz officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Aletha to Diabetes Association of St. Joseph County, United Health Services, 711 E. Colfax Avenue, South Bend, IN 46617.
