NORTH LIBERTY - Keith E. Gordon, 80, of 617 W. Cedar St., died about 3 a.m. Sunday in the home of a niece at 29200 County Road 20, Elkhart, after an illness. Mr. Gordon retired from Wells Aluminum after 23 years of service. He was born Aug. 14, 1915, in Mishawaka and lived in North Liberty most of his life.
On June 6, 1938, in Granger, he married Mary Jane Zent. She died Oct. 13, 1994. He is survived by a son, Robert Z. of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beulah Kauffman of Elkhart. A son, Charles A., died Jan. 29, 1991.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 365.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in A.M. Manuel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
