Ludwik Gorczyca

August 14, 1887 – September 6, 1969

Ludwik Gorczyca, 82, of 2416 W. Orange St., died at 6am today in Osteopathic Hospital after a brief illness.  He had been an employee of the Studebaker Corp. for thirty-eight years, retiring in 1955.  He was born on August 14, 1887, in Poland, coming here forty years ago.  In 1938 he married Anna M. Traczyik, who survives.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Sunday and 2 to 9pm Monday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, 3402 Lincoln Way West.  Services will be held at 9am Tuesday in St Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph Zawistowski, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  He was a member of the St Joseph Society of the Church.
