Betty Jo Gorbics (Nov. 21, 1933-March 29, 1995)

SOUTH BEND - Betty Jo Gorbics, 61, of North Ironwood Road, died at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Gorbics was born Nov. 21, 1933, in Warsaw. On Nov. 30, 1954, in South Bend, as Betty Jo Himes, she married Leslie R. Gorbics. He survives with two stepsons, Gene G. Gorbics of Plainwell, Mich., and Richard Gorbics of Wolcottville; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; her stepfather, Wayne Dawson of South Bend; a sister, Billie Jean Pusztai of South Bend; and a stepbrother, Dennis Dawson of Indianapolis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hanley & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
