MISHAWAKA - Sister M. Nancy Goodrum, OSF, 83, of Our Lady of Angels, Sisters of St. Francis Convent, died Saturday in her residence. Sister M. Nancy was born Oct. 8, 1912, in Lucy, Tenn., as Nancy E. Goodrum.

She entered the convent Jan. 6, 1936, and received her Franciscan habit Aug. 12, 1936. She was a registered nurse at hospitals in Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee. Her last mission was at St. Alexis Hospital, Cleveland. She retired in 1983. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Meryle Goodrum of Memphis, Tenn.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Francis Convent Chapel. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. A wake will be at 7 p.m. today in the convent chapel. Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
