MISHAWAKA - Wanda Marie Goodman, 76, passed away at noon
on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, in Fountainview Place, Mishawaka, IN.
She was born on December 4, 1931, in Jasonville, IN, to Brisben
and Meredith (Bedwell) Smith, and had lived in the South
Bend area since 1942, coming from Jasonville.
On September 1, 1950, in South Bend, IN, she
married Arthur Smith. Then, on May 26, 1975, in Elkhart, IN, she
married Edward Goodman. Wanda is survived by two daughters,
Cheryl (Ron) Burris of Granger and Pamela (Steven) Wetzel
of Osceola; one son, Dwight Smith of Osceola; five
grandchildren, Brian Burris, Chad Smith, Rachel Smith, Elizabeth
Wetzel and Steven Wetzel Jr.; and three great-grandchildren,
Michael Burris, Gabrielle Burris and Thien Smith. Wanda loved
giving of her time to others. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts,
gardening, loved dried flowers pictures and reading. She was a
graduate of Adams High School.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM
Friday, June 6, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528
Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Graveside services and burial will
follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, IN. Friends may visit
with the family from 6 to 8 PM today in the funeral home.
