Mrs. Mary Golomb

Mrs. Mary Golomb, 83, died at 4:30am today in the Carlyle Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

She was born on October 18, 1896, in South Bend, and had lived here all her life.  On October 2, 1916, in South Bend, she married Frank Golomb who died May 11, 1975.  Surviving are a son, Stanley of South Bend; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Badal of Chicago, Miss Verna Lemanski and Miss Gertrude Lemanski, both of South Bend and a brother, Stephen Lemanski of South Bend.

Services will be at 10am on Saturday in St Adalbert’s Catholic Church.  Rev. Eugene J. Kazmierczak, pastor, will officiate.  Entombment will be in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm on Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Friday at St Joseph Funeral Home.  She was a member of the God & Country Society of St Adalbert’s Church.
