Kenneth W. Gollatz

July 27, 1909 - Aug. 5, 1997

Kenneth W. Gollatz, 88, of Barcus Way, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 9:28 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5, in the St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend.

Mr. Gollatz was born on July 27, 1909, in South Bend, as the son of Charles H. and Minnie (Witte) Gollatz.

In 1946 he married Cecelia A. Farrell, who survives. He is also survived by a nephew, Chuck Gollatz of Osceola, Ind.; and by three great-nieces, Lisa Bottorff of South Bend, Heather Gollatz of Chicago, Ill., and Paige Mortrud of Bristol, Ind.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Gollatz.

Mr. Gollatz worked for Indiana Bell Telephone for 40 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Madison Township Lions and the Zion United Church of Christ in Wakarusa, Ind.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Hahn Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Ingle officiating. Burial will follow in the Bremen Cemetery, Bremen, Ind.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wakarusa Historical Society Museum.
