SOUTH BEND - Anna Marie Golata, 92, passed away on
Wednesday, July 16, at 4:15 p.m. in Memorial Hospital, South
Bend. Anna Marie was born on April 5, 1916, in South Bend to the
late John G. and Pauline (Graber) Koppy. On June 6,
1942, she married Michael J. Golata. He preceded her in death on
July 7, 1967. She was also preceded in death by her three
sisters, Pauline Freitag, Elizabeth Rodts, and Mary
Swanson; and by her brother, John S. Koppy. She is
survived by several nieces and nephews, including Kent (Susan) Ullery,
Brian (Kristine) Ullery, Shawn (Kristin) Lewis, Robert
Ullery, Brenner Ullery, Brooks Ullery, Alayna Lewis and Brayden
Lewis, who loved and will miss her very much. Anna Marie retired
in 1988 from Dutron Corp. She was a member of Holy Family
Catholic Church, St. John Retirees, Golden Cluster, Alter and
Rosary Society, Club 55 of Terre Coupee, Bowlers Country Club and
Harvest House, and she was a Rosary maker at St. John the
Baptist.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 20 from 2
to 6 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road,
South Bend where a Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 21 at 10 a.m.
in Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at St.
Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made
to Holy Family Church Building Fund, 56405 Mayflower Road, South
